Patterson Pass Road Safety Improvements in the Vicinity of MM 6.4


Project Overview

The Patterson Pass Road Safety Improvements in the Vicinity of Mile Marker (MM) 6.4 will enhance traffic safety for motorists and bicyclists who travel along Patterson Pass Road. The improvements along this 1,300 foot stretch of Patterson Pass Road, in the vicinity of MM 6.4, include providing roadway drainage, enhancing the shoulders, and minimally widening the travel way width to accommodate two-way traffic and emergency vehicles.

Patterson Pass Road to be closed to all vehicular traffic (except to emergency vehicles), pedestrians, and bicyclists at milepost marker 6.4 for the entire duration of the project. Construction began in July 2015.

PROJECT UPDATE (as of September 24, 2015)

Construction on the Patterson Pass Road Safety Improvements Project, in the vicinity of mile marker 6.4, is complete, and the roadway is now open.

Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution and adhere to all traffic regulations and speed limits.
